An autopsy report is the one handout that tells the players what really happened and makes it worse by doing so: the cause of death is written down, signed and stamped, and the detail that does not fit is written down with it.
The first page holds the case number, the date of the examination and who performed it, the particulars of the deceased — a name or “unknown”, sex, apparent age, height, weight, date and place of death — and the external and internal examination, each shrinking its type to fit its box. The second is a front-and-back body chart, printed by the style, on which you mark each injury as a ring, a line, a hatched bruise or a zigzag, numbered to match the text; then the samples taken and their results, the cause and the manner of death, the signature and the stamp.
