A custom character sheet, built from the pieces of the others

Every table plays something the ready-made sheets were not laid out for: a homebrew, a hack, a system nobody has printed a sheet for in twenty years. This one starts empty. You put the boxes where your game needs them.

The pieces

The same parts the other character sheets are made of, each one a box you add from a palette: a name line and a row of labelled details across the top, then characteristics as a row of boxes, vitals with a current and a maximum, a two-up skill list, attacks with bonus and damage, abilities with their effect, equipment with a quantity, a ruled box for notes and a frame for a portrait. Every heading and every row label is yours to rename, so one notes box can be the backstory and the next the allies.

Arranging the page

Each page is a band across the top and two columns under it. Drag a piece between them, drag it up or down its column, pull its bottom edge to make it taller or shorter and its top edge to move it further down the page — two pieces to a column at half the height each, or five. The × in its corner takes it away again.

Four looks, A4 at 300 DPI as a PNG or a PDF, and a fillable PDF — including a blank copy of your own layout to print for the whole table. If your game is one of the four the ready-made sheets are laid out for, the 5E Character Sheet and the Investigator Sheet are already done.
