Hex crawl maps with a key to every hex

A hex crawl is a map the party explores one hex at a time, and the game master needs to know what waits in each. Paint the terrain hex by hex, or generate it from a seed, and the numbered notes you place become the key printed beside the map.

Two copies from one map

Put your notes on a layer marked for the game master and the export menu offers a copy for the players: the same hexes, the same numbers on the edges, and none of the secrets. The skins are a clean print and a pencil sketch; A4 or A3 at 300 DPI, PNG or PDF. For a map of a whole kingdom without a grid, use the Region map.
